Dress-O-Rama 2009
When Mom showed up seven days ago, she had a decent sized suitcase full of fabric and dresses in various stages of completion. By the time she left today, here's what she had to show for it (and I had to wear). (Yes, I airbrushed my face out where necessary. I actually do have facial features.)

Verrrrrry Snazzzzzzy! Even without facial features, you look great! It could be a new look!
Holy cow, you got a entire new wardrobe. You mother does nice work.

EPIC DRESS WIN!
WANT! Oh wow, those dresses are so cute!
That's lovely work -- and you all pick fabric/patterns that really look good on adult women! I look through the stores and can hardly find anything affordable that doesn't suggest the wearer is really just there to make coffee or date the boss's son.
WANT WANT WANT
how do I hire PixienKitty's Mum? Do I need to fly her to Vegas and hold her captive till she makes me my own set of fabulous clothes?
because I could do that...
then again, the fabulousness also comes from having a svelt model.
go pixie, go pixie.
seriuosly, kidnapping... this has merit...
I'm with you BaxtersMum - I want their Mom as well ...
jealousy, I haz it.
Wow. The best of the 50's. (I mean that in the best way. fifties fashions were really cool. )
Some of the fashions are from the 40's. The suit coat, pants, and A line skirt are 40's- al la Kate Hepburn. There will be more suits of this sort to come. My sister in Chicago sends me several boxes of fabric everytime she moves. I have LOTS of it. Hey Sister! Think yur little girl would be interested in a suit like it? Send measurements.
I can make clothes for others, but not without precise measurements. Lots of them. And without you being here it won't fit quite as well. I DO however have a dress makers model I can change the size of. We're also working on a website. Stay Tuned Friends and Neighbors!
