Today is an auspicious day, to say the least. Not only is it my 8th anniversary at Design Associates, it's also 8 years since I first met and was so terribly starstruck by Guy. I mentioned this fact to him, and he replied calmly and matter-of-factly, "Well, happy anniversary." Indeed.
I've come a long way personally and professionally in eight years. I should hope so--I've gotten sharper, more talented, more skilled, more comfortable with myself, better able to handle criticism and conflict. It's nice to know how times have changed.
