According to Failblog.org, the architect that named this house plan in his development didn't understand the racial and cultural baggage of = the phrase "porch monkey". He did change the name of the house style, presumably after a tremendous ass-whoopin'.

Sometimes there is simply no limit to the amount of awesome we can mentally process. I should go back to bed, nothing can equal this for the rest of the day.

Other than the obvious societal issues implied with the title of this house drawing set, who the hell would purchase a house that had the word 'monkey' in its name?
As our late grandmother would say, "Jee-zus GAWD!"
Were she alive today, I'm sure Maw-Maw would have loved--and frequently used--the acronym WTF. WTF certainly applies to this plan name.
Weirdly...my word verification is mistert. I pity the fool who drew up this plan.
